- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Lindsey is a licensed clinical social worker who earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi. She then obtained 3,000 clinical hours in counseling and therapeutic services to become clinically licensed in the state of TN. Lindsey began her practice at the Babb Center in 2018 shortly after moving to TN from MS. Her background includes providing counseling services within the school system, drug and alcohol recovery through a transitional housing program, and providing individual and family counseling through private practice.
Lindsey’s counseling interests include working with grief, trauma resolution, women’s issues, teen issues, anxiety, depression, phase of life adjustment, and stress management. Lindsey has continuing education hours with a specialty in grief work. Lindsey is also level 1 and level 2 trained in EMDR as well as other trauma reprocessing techniques. She uses a variety of techniques and interventions to support, empower, and help you set and reach personal goals that lead to hope and healing.
Lindsey has been married for 23 years and has three children. She enjoys spending time with family, reading the Bible, cooking, traveling, and baseball.
