Julie lives life to the fullest and is always up for new challenges. Her long-held belief is that every person has “a story worth sharing.” This positive mindset dovetails with her commitment to listening in hopeful expectation. Julie is eager to work with individuals and couples of all ages and backgrounds. As a counselor, she helps reframe thought processes that may otherwise hinder individuals from living fulfilling lives.

Julie completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. She is currently under supervision and working toward licensure. Julie is also uniquely trained as both a family and civil mediator. Her time proven skills and abilities foster the resolution of conflict in healthy ways. These efforts can facilitate time and cost-effective outcomes for all parties.

Julie values spending time with her husband of almost 30 years, as well as her many children and grandchildren. In her spare time, of which there is very little, Julie seeks out opportunities for hiking, reading, doing puzzles, and playing games. She is an avid practitioner of Adlerian psychology, a proponent of Motivational Interviewing, and an advisor on Enneagram personality types.
