When stressful days hit, I’ve found it effective to be mindful in my activities. Capturing the simple things in life helps lift my spirit on days when I might otherwise have a huge case of the blahs!
So, here are a few easy things I do to drive my [potentially] negative reactions toward life-restoring actions instead.
I love taking time to:
- Read good books
- Listen to inspiring podcasts
- Play a fun, active game
- Get coffee from my favorite shop
I spend more joyful moments with others, such as:
- Playing with my children
- Eating my favorite foods with family
- Enjoying a great movie or show together
Consider ways you, too, can incorporate positive activities in your daily schedule with friends and family members. Think about those things you used to wish you had time for but perhaps put off. Now, grasp this unique time in history with mindful intentionality to enjoy the many simple blessings of life God has given you.
