Q? Are your clinicians licensed?

A.
Some of our clinicians are licensed and some are in the process of becoming licensed. We have Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Psychological Examiner, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and a Psychiatrist.

Q? How long is a counseling session?

A.
Sessions range anywhere from 15 minutes to 50 minutes in length.

Q? What age children do you see?

A.
We see children age 3 and up.

Q? I’m divorced, how does this impact counseling for my child?

A.
Typically when there is a divorce, a parenting plan or similar legal documentation is in place that describes who has the authority to agree to treatment for the minor. Copies of these documents must be provided before the minor can be seen to ensure that we are in compliance with the legally mandated order.

Q? Do you have evening hours?

A.
The BabbCenter is available for scheduling in-person sessions based on counselor availability until 6:00pm Monday – Thursday and until 5:00pm on Friday. Sessions at 6:00pm and 7:00pm are available for telehealth only Monday – Thursday.

Q? What if I cannot afford the full fee?

A.
Limited benevolence funds are available to assist with part of the fee.
