Laura joined The BabbCenter as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over ten years of private practice experience.
After receiving her degree in counseling from Trevecca University in 2006, she began an intense study of emotionally focused therapy, positive psychology, and resiliency strategies. Laura enjoys working with clients from a variety of backgrounds—focusing on individuals, couples, and families (ages 14+). She has extensive experience providing therapy for depression, anxiety, couples counseling, teen motivational counseling, blended families, separation/divorce adjustment, crisis intervention, and personal development/enrichment.
Laura has been married for over twenty years and has three children. She believes having a child in college, one in high school, and one in middle school affords her a unique view into her clients’ dilemmas and life stage complexities.
Laura lives on a family farm in Robertson County and enjoys reading, flower gardening, quiet spaces, and morning walks with her miniature schnauzer, Nash.
