Lauren Combs, a Hendersonville native, earned her bachelor’s in human services and counseling as well as her master’s degree in education of counseling and human development at Lindsey Wilson College. She is a counselor under supervision working toward her LPC-MHSP.
During her undergraduate and graduate career, Lauren expanded her knowledge and experience by interning at The BabbCenter before beginning her professional career as a STARS Counselor in Sumner County. She has been able to exercise her passion for working with kids and teens over the last ten years of employment in the school system. However, Lauren is well-rounded having worked with various populations and stages of life. Her areas of focus include anxiety, coping with life-altering events, and teen issues. She strives to help her clients set goals that will allow them to move toward a life of happiness and aspiration while pointing them to the freedom and healing that God provides.
In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends, reading, traveling, and staying active in church, and serving in the student ministry.
