Peter Wilson, EdD

Peter Wilson is a licensed psychologist in the state of Tennessee. He earned his BA from Free Will Baptist Bible College, a MA in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, and an EdD from Tennessee State University.

His therapeutic areas of focus include older adolescents and adults. He received specialized training in the cognitive treatment of depression and anxiety. In his practice, Peter sees individuals and couples. In addition to his work as a therapist, Peter is a professor and director of the graduate psychology program at Trevecca Nazarene University. Prior to assuming his full-time responsibilities at Trevecca in 1995, Peter served for two years as clinical director and six years as a therapist at Christian Counseling Services in Nashville.

Peter lives in Nashville with his wife, Deb. He has two adult children and two step-sons, as well as nine grandchildren. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and maintaining his yard.
